Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by a Wild Birding representative and transferred to your hotel. Your evening birding begins along the Paro River, targeting species such as Ibisbill, Brown Dipper, and Wallcreeper, along with River Lapwing, Olive-backed Pipit, White-capped and Plumbeous Water Redstart, White Wagtail, Rufous-breasted Accentor, Green and Common Sandpiper, among others.

Hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched on a cliff surrounded by Blue Pine and mixed conifer forests. Along the way, look for Spotted, Chestnut-crowned, Black-faced and White-throated Laughingthrushes, Altai, Alpine and Rufous-breasted Accentors, Darjeeling and Rufousbellied Woodpeckers, Spotted Nutcracker, Yellow-billed Magpie, Rufous Sibia, Tits, Warblers, and Sunbirds.Overnight: Paro
Drive to Chelela Pass (approx. 4000 m), the highest motorable road in Bhutan.
